This week's guest is long time friend and Doctor of Philosophy, Tyler Paytas. His field of study focuses on ethics and moral philosophy. We begin our discussion talking about the philosophical questions addressed in film, such as the movies Tombstone and Unforgiven. Tyler and I reflect on philosophical conversations we had when he was in elementary school. He discusses the path that lead his pursuit toward a PhD. In Philosophy. We cover many topics that range from how to be a virtuous person, questioning the existence of god and the implications of political and cultural conditioning.

Her time in South America is filled with great stories from traveling to Machu Picchu to listening to Pink Floyd on a random Ecuadorian beach. Her journey there filled her with other worldly inspiration and reminds us all to step out into the unknown to rejuvenate our souls.

Ben Soto is a speech therapist and musician. As a speech therapist, he has helped stroke victims recover their speech and also assists children with various developmental disorders in low socio-economic communities. As a musician he is part of a trio group called Phantom Airship. Ben talks about the similarities of being a musician and speech therapist. He shares the concept of the voice being an instrument and the ability to communicate to others is a necessary tool the survival of human beings.
